Adaptive Design Association (ADA) advances healthcare, education, and social well-being by engaging everyone—novice to expert—in building custom adaptations, discovering untapped potential, and nurturing communities that thrive with diversity. ADA ensures that children with disabilities have timely access to customized adaptive equipment that supports their development.

Andromeda Community Initiative (ACI) expands access to high-quality workforce development opportunities for individuals historically excluded from economic mobility. ACI trains New Yorkers—including justice-involved individuals, those experiencing homelessness, long-term unemployment and low-income job seekers—connecting them to career pathways in construction, building restoration, and energy efficiency.

Parole Preparation Project supports the release of parole-eligible aging and elderly people in New York State prisons and facilitates a successful return to their communities. 

Donation Needs include the following, whether new or second-hand:

  • Stamps (we use thousands of stamps every year to send mail to incarcerated people)
  • Storage cabinets (Like THIS one) 
  • Large Shelves (Like THIS one) 
  • Small Shelves (Like THIS one) 
  • Bookshelves (Like THIS one) 
  • Laptops/computers/tablets (or gift cards to sellers like Best Buy, Apple, etc.)
  • Cell phones (or gift cards to sellers like Verizon, TMobile, etc.)
  • Gift cards to department stores (Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.)
  • Gift cards to drug stores and pharmacies (CVS, Duane Reade, Target, etc.)
  • Gift cards to Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.

        Teens for Food Justice (TFFJ) is building a food-secure future through school-based, youth-led hydroponic farming, providing local, sustainably grown produce to food desert communities and building health, education, and opportunity equity for all New Yorkers and beyond.

        Donation Needs Include the following:

        • Specialized hydroponic supplies including grow media & lighting components that aren't available through standard retail channels.  

        Volunteer Opportunities: 

        Our farms and programs have the capacity to host limited numbers of volunteers for projects or events. These can include:

        • Labor for new farm and/or greenhouse builds
        • Harvesting for campus and/or community food distributions.
        • Food distributions
        • Annual Student Leadership Conference speakers, panelists, or workshop leaders
        • Annual Student Leadership Conference event support
        • Career talks, mentorship (online or in person)

        Sponsorship Opportunity:

        • Annual Student Leadership Conference held each May brings together student farmers from across our school sites for a day of skill-building, advocacy training, and peer connection.  Contribution directed to the Leadership Conference can be made Here
        • A sponsorship contribution directed to hydroponic supplies ensures our student farmers can keep all our NYC farms producing year-round, and can be made Here
